My Story
I grew up exploring the forests of upstate New York, a world of quiet adventure that shaped my curiosity and resilience. Life didn’t always follow a simple path—I moved from a small-town childhood to city life in Austin, navigated family changes, and learned early on how to adapt, grow, and find strength in uncertainty.
My professional journey took me through urban forestry and conservation education, but it was my spiritual journey that reshaped my life. After years of study and dedication, I embraced Judaism, built a family, and experienced the profound challenges and joys that come with creating a life rooted in purpose.
In 2020, at 37½ weeks pregnant and in a foreign country during a global pandemic, I delivered my fourth child in Israel. It was a moment that tested every ounce of resilience I had cultivated—and reminded me of the power of emunah, courage, and adaptability.
Today, I live in Beit Shemesh with my husband and four children. Through Sticks and Stones Healing, I combine my life experiences with compassion and insight to guide others on their own journeys toward healing, balance, and transformation. Life may be unpredictable, but with the right support, growth and renewal are always possible.
